When Good Women Take Charge, Great Things Happen
Female sensibility and leadership prove to be superior to that of many male counterparts in our modern world. A recent example of such was demonstrated by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) (NY) in response to Ted Yoho’s (FL)boorish conduct toward her on the steps of the United States Capitol Building. While Yoho denies that he did anything wrong, this CNBC article outlines what is more likely to be the truth.
Whether or not you agree with her policy or politics, AOC’s message needs to be repeated over and over and over again.
For far too long, men have tread upon women while other men stood by in silent support. Silent support caused by simple fear. Fear of losing the slippery grip they’ve had on society for hundreds of years.
The time has come for those who do not accept responsibility for their own behaviour to be buried in the dinosaur pit with other misogynistic, privileged men.
